Final Thoughts

Through mass media, and more specifically through pursuing a political agenda, giving a platform to mass shooters, and through easy access to media outlets, gun violence and mass shootings have been perpetuated in society. These actions on behalf of media outlets have contributed to a dramatic spike in mass shootings that occur in the United States, a nation wide phenomenon that exponentially increases as time progresses.
